Newtonhill is a coastal village located about 10 miles south of Aberdeen. It has seen rapid growth in recent years and now has a population of around 3,000. The nearby villages of Muchalls and Cammachmore also form part of the parish and have populations of about 500 and 200 respectively.
Newtonhill Church seeks to meet the spiritual needs of the local community. It has a purpose built, modern building. It has a main service each week at 10am, which lasts around an hour and is followed by tea and coffee. There is an evening service every first Sunday of the month which is more informal. The Sunday Fun Club meet during the morning service for children and young people. Creche facilities are also available every week.
